Product Overview

Automate AutoCAD to Revit Model Conversion.

Smart BIM Automation is a BIM automation utility developed using C# and Dynamo to convert 2D AutoCAD drawings into 3D Revit models. The solution is designed to help architects, designers, and BIM professionals reduce repetitive modeling tasks and streamline the conversion of existing CAD drawings into Revit environments.

The utility enables users to import DWG files containing 2D architectural plans and automatically detect and process predefined architectural layers. Layers such as Wall, Window, Door, Roof, Floor, Railing, and other supported elements can be mapped to their corresponding Revit components.

By combining C# development, Autodesk APIs, and Dynamo-based automation, Smart BIM Automation provides a structured workflow for extracting drawing information and generating corresponding Revit elements from 2D AutoCAD data.
